Remarkable Results of Baba Farid College of Engineering & Technology Students

Continuing the tradition of getting outstanding results, Baba Farid Group of Institutions has got one more feather added to their hat. Recently PTU, Jalandhar has declared the result of  B.Tech. (2nd, 4th &6th Semester) in which the students of Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology performed remarkably. More than 70 students of B.Tech . got above 80% marks & 10 students secured above 85% marks Sakshi(B.Tech CSE 4th Sem)-88.12%,Harsuminder Kaur (B.Tech CSE 6th Sem)-87.89%, Bhanu Priya (B.Tech CSE 4th Sem)-87.25%,Sunny Kumar (B.Tech IT 6th Sem)-86.7%, Harkamaljeet Kaur (B.Tech IT 4th Sem) -86.5% , Sunayna Garg(B.Tech. CSE 6th Sem)-86.33%,Rasneet Kaur (B.Tech IT 4th Sem)-86.12%,Vandana Dutt(B.Tech. CSE 6th Sem)-85.4%, Avantika-(B.Tech. CSE 4th Sem)-85% & Gurpreet Kaur(B.Tech. ECE 2nd Sem)-85%).Out of these 10 students got 100% marks in mathematics which is known to be a very hard subject. The overall result of the BFCET is tremendous and remarkable.

Principal, BFCET said that the evolution and adoption of modern teaching methodology by the institute has proved to be very effective for the students. Interactive lectures by the college teachers and guest faculty, seminars on management topics, group discussions, industrial visits and sending students for live projects have facilitated learning and developed practical skills in the students in which they are interested.

BFGI have a separate and well established Training & Placement department which has a dedicated team of well qualified trainers who are providing training to the students in all semesters. Mega Job Fairs and Placement Drives are organized on regular basis to provide job opportunities to the students. Data64 Techno Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has established its First “Centre of Excellence” of  Northern India in the campus to train the  B.Tech. students. Data64 will visit the campus for recruitments of students of B.Tech.(CSE, IT & ECE) at the Annual package of Rs.10 Lacs, on 27^th july 2012.This Placement drive is open for all the upcoming Engineers of the region.

The continuous efforts made by the institute have steadily improved the performance in academics and prepared students as a valuable product for the corporate world. BFGI have an effective Innovation Centre established by Microsoft which help in building and accelerating the skills of the student community as the students will be working on different projects having practical applications enriching them technically. It also help students in nurturing and harboring their Innovations, thus implementing their ideas into products and fostering entrepreneurship resulting in financial gains also.
